THE KELLY CAMPAIGN PAUSES ... LONG ENOUGH TO SAY "THANK YOU"
When we began this campaign last fall, $30,000 seemed like a distant goal. As of midnight, June 30, the end of the fundraising quarter, you and 675 of your friends and neighbors have contributed $90,945 to our campaign. This is a remarkable testament to your desire to turn the page in Jefferson City:
- To undo the cuts in Medicaid;
- To restore funding for our schools and universities;
- To foster economic development in Boone County; and
- To restore civility and good judgment to the floor of the House of Representatives.
Of the nearly $91,000 raised, $36,867 was contributed in this fundraising quarter, and just under $8,000 was contributed by 95 people online through ActBlue at chriskelly24.com.
ActBlue, the largest national source of funds for Democratic candidates, posted record-setting end-of-quarter figures, and our campaign was one of the three House races in Missouri with the greatest online support.
This is not my accomplishment -- it is yours. You have demonstrated your commitment to take back and redirect state government to address the needs of all Missouri citizens -- free from the intrusion of special interests, narrow agendas, and “gotcha” politics.
It is difficult for me to find the words to express how grateful I am for your support. I will work as hard as I am able to be worthy of your trust.
